The Company
SWiPE is a Young Enterprise team made of nine Year 12 students from St Cuthberts College in Auckland. It is fully student organised and made aiming to solve a New Zealand problem. We chose farm bike theft as a major issue and have made a product to solve it.
The Product
CockySure is a practical, lightweight farm bike alarm that attaches to any farm bike and provides an instant insurance against theft. This device is portable and simply attaches to the bike battery. It is motion sensitive once switched on and can be attached to anything with a 12 V battery. Upon activation it emits a loud alarm which will alert the owner of the theft in progress.
The Proposal
This product was launched at the Mystery Creek Field Days in the Innovations centre as some of your colleagues would’ve seen. We are now selling this product to the public and are offering you the chance to on sell it to your customers at your desired price. Through selling it to big businesses we hope to further publicise it as it is the only thing like it on the market. Although a lot of interest has been shown we have chosen to sell it to companies rather than retail it ourselves.
